What Spaces Are Suitable for Underfloor Heating

Heating, one of the essential needs of humanity, is met in various ways. Underfloor heating systems are a method developed for heating purposes and have been used since ancient times. The most significant advantage of the system, which provides heating through water pipes laid in the floor, is that it distributes heat evenly throughout the space, ensuring comfortable warmth.

How is an Underfloor Heating System Installed

The underfloor heating system, which comes in two types: electric cable and water pipe, can be used in all enclosed spaces. Besides enclosed areas such as homes, villas, places of worship, schools, hospitals, Turkish baths, hotels, offices..., the system can also be applied to open areas and has the feature of preventing snow and ice formation. Especially in sports fields, winter gardens, greenhouses, roofs and gutters, stairs... snow and ice can be prevented by preferring the electric cable heating system. To provide underfloor heating, styrofoam is laid under the screed before floor covering is applied. It is preferred that the space be in the construction phase for the application to be carried out easily and practically. Heating pipes are laid on the grooved styrofoam and fixed. After the fixing process, the system is tested. If there are any problems, they are identified and repaired. After all tests are completed, the screed is poured, and the floor covering is applied.
