The First Domestic Electric Car Will Be on the Market in 2017
Cars to be used in the future will have various communication devices connected, and with the integration of many features familiar to users from mobile devices into cars, self-driving vehicles will be achieved. According to information technology provider Mentor Graphics, one of the leading companies in electronic design automation, they are conducting intensive research and development on how this development will ensure safety in the automotive sector they serve.
Our country's first domestic car, developed by a company established in the Technology Development Zone in Eskişehir with the collaboration of more than 30 academics from 15 different universities, aims to be launched in 2017. This domestic car, named "Begler", also features design elements inspired by "Devrim". The production cost of the car is expected to be around 50-60 thousand for approximately 20,000 units.
